Everyone loves to use vectors these days. These are simply two or sometimes three-dimensional lines that are generated by computers and are the most popular kinds of images that are being used by business leaders these days.

The bias in favor of vectors is not just a personal preference. There are many great things to be said about the vector and its place in modern-day graphics. The vector, unlike an image, can be resized. If you have a regular image then it only has a finite number of pixels and thus the quality of the image can and does go down. However, with vectors this does not happen and they remain the same great standard of art at all sizes.

Also the number of things you can do with a vector are so many that  a regular image just cannot compete. There are so many different options to experiment with creativity and to come up with custom designs that are made to order and help you make something truly unique. Also you can take apart different things in a vector for instance you can turn the font into the outline. This can be done without compromising on quality and it will continue to load at the same speed.

Also the size of the vector file is much much smaller than the size of a regular image these days. The vector only needs a little information as to the starting points. A regular image these days is easily going to be several Gigabytes of data. This is one of the best things about vectors you can store as many as you like without the need for more memory.

Now that you like the idea of using a vector you probably want to get your hands on some great vectorial designs. One great place to start is to try to get vector stocks. These images are made on a broad range of topics, they also make designs for whatever is happening at the moment like holidays for instance. No matter what is happening in the world you can be sure that they probably have made a few vectors for it. They also have merchandise licenses so you can use their images for commercial purposes without any fear of any copyright violations.

If you are a subscriber they offer to make images for you on request as well. The company has a lot of designers working for them full time and they turn out designs as fast as you need them. Vexels also provides an online editor service where it offers you suggestions as to what you should add or what you might be better off dropping. They have the experience, the team, and the resources to offer solid advice that cannot be passed up easily.

The upside to using this website is their online editor is super popular among users. The images that can be downloaded are so many that you are almost certain to find what you need. Moreover, even if what you want is not there they will make it for you. Lastly, they give a commercial and merchandise license to allow you to use the images. They give these on both monthly subscription packages and individual licenses as well.

However, some of the best designs are only available for paying members thus if you are not willing to pay you cannot get the best stuff. Also, they do not have a photography stock, only vectors, and graphics.

02. Freepik the pick of many up and coming graphic designers

Almost everyone who is into graphics knows about these guys. They have a great search engine that allows you to find free images off the internet. You can find many thousands of designs that cover a host of topics. Their stock includes stock images, vectors and PSD, they do not have PNGs or SVGs.

The website has a lot of excellent graphic designs for paying customers and gives license to use their graphics. You need a subscription though you cannot just get one image. Also, they do not have an online editor option.

The upside is that they have a lot of different pictures, designs and images that you can choose from. The downside is they do not have an image editor and they also do not have PNGs and SVGs. Lastly, if you just need one or two images then bad news they only have a subscription option.

03.   A graphic designer favorite is Vecteezy

This has been around for quite a while now. What is more, they now have an editor option that enables you to make changes to your designs before uploading them. The UX of the editor is also very good now but it is still a work in progress and needs a lot more work before it gets to where it needs to be.

Due to the fact that they did not make many of these designs so trying to customize them will be a little tricky. This website does not have a standard of vectors and you will find a lot of things to choose from.

This site also has a subscription plan. They do need to add photography to their website and it seems to be badly lacking.

The upside is they have a very large selection of designs that are on offer and they have an online editor which even though is not perfect it is improving by the day. The downside is there is no merchandise license, there is stock of pictures and a lot of their best stuff is only available upon payment.

04. Dryicons

This website does not have quite the number of options as some of the others on the list. However, it is very easy to use. You just search a word and the search engine will do the rest. Many graphic designers turn to this site for this same reason. It is easy for them to find what they need and to do so quickly. The ads they have are not their best feature. They are easy on the wallet and their paid content does not cost a fortune.

The upside is that the site is easy to use, it is low cost and has some variety. The downside is the pop ads are a pain and their stock is not that big.

05. Freedesignfile every graphic designers friend

This is a website that has a lot of pictures, fonts, vectors and more. This is particularly good if you are a novice who is on a tight budget. They do not have many of the great paid features of other websites like an editor for instance. However, they are a safe bet to try.
