For my birthday, I requested my parents to take me and my friends to the Funky Island game zone in Pacific D21 Mall, Dwarka. It is the best game zone in Dwarka and is the go-to destination for all teenagers that are my age. All my classmates celebrated their birthdays at the shopping mall by playing countless games at the Funky Island game zone. Later, they treated their friends to delicious meals in the mall’s Salt food court. I attended two of my friends’ birthdays at the game zone in the shopping mall and begged my parents to let me celebrate my birthday in the same manner. It did take me a week to convince them as they wanted me to celebrate my birthday at home where my old grandparents could also be a part of the celebrations but my parents were able to find a middle ground and permitted me to celebrate my birthday at the mall in the evening, on the condition that I celebrate my birthday at my home with my grandparents in the morning.
Upon hearing the news, I was elated. I requested my mother to help me make hand-made invitation cards. We took two days to make all the cards… they looked so pretty! I handed the invitation cards to all my friends at school and asked them to be at the shopping mall on time. My parents had decided to take us to the Salt food court for an early dinner, just as I wanted it. My friends had already started naming all the dishes they wanted to eat and I was getting more and more excited with every second passing by to cut the cake and receive gifts. My father had planned to buy my favorite pineapple cake for me to cut. I was really looking forward to playing games at the Funky Island game zone, cutting the cake at the food court, and having a wonderful dinner afterward. It was going to be my best birthday to date, all because my parents had agreed to celebrate this special day at the best game zone in Dwarka!
My special day arrived. I woke up early and started the birthday celebrations at home. We cut the cake and my grandparents and aunts and uncles gave me gifts. My cousins tried to smash some cake in my face but my grandfather was able to shield me from their mischief. In the evening, my parents and I sat in our car to drive down to Pacific D21 Mall, Dwarka. We reached the mall on time and found out that some of my friends had already arrived while some were on their way. Everyone was excited and looking forward to the party. All my friends were carrying gift-wrapped packages… I could not stop giggling! We waited for 15 minutes for the remaining friends to arrive after which my parents took us to the game zone and announced that we had three hours to play as much as we wanted to play and whichever game we liked to play. All my friends went berserk. They invited me to play racing games, shooting games, and air hockey games with them. I took turns playing with all my friends and even requested my parents to come and play with us. I played a shooting game with my father and a car racing game with my father. My friends and I were laughing and singing, and we went around playing all the games present in the Funky Island
game zone. This was the best game zone in Dwarka and I was extremely thankful to my parents for bringing me here!
While we were playing, my father started to make Google searches for “optical shop in Pacific Dwarka”. He found out there is a Lenskart store in the mall and went there to purchase something. After three hours my parents asked all of us to gather in the food court as it was time to cut the cake. My mother lit the candles and I blew them off while everyone sang the Happy Birthday song to me. My friends gave me the gifts they had brought after which my parents placed an order for our food. My parents asked everyone what they wanted to eat and then placed an order on each count of the respective food brand. We waited for our food to arrive and when it did, we couldn’t stop eating. There were pizzas, cold drinks, burgers, fries, wraps, and ice creams. It was the best birthday to date!
