Applications for the Common University Entrance Test 2022 will be accepted beginning on April 2. (CUET 2022). It was announced on the official CUET website today, March 27, by the University of Georgia and the NTA. An exam known as the CUET, or the Central University Common Entrance Test, has begun.

What does CUET stand for?

This year’s first-ever standardized entrance test will be administered at all 45 Central University campuses in early July, according to UGC Chairperson M Jagadesh Kumar.

He went on to say that the National Testing Agency (NTA) will be announcing the CUET test format or Cuet test series on Tuesday. He didn’t elaborate. The first week of April is the deadline for applicants to submit their applications.

For these undergraduate degrees, Kumar said the Class 12 Board test results would be rejected and only CUET scores will be considered. He is of the opinion that universities may only evaluate a student’s eligibility based on the results of a board test they have taken.

Admissions Test for Colleges

UGC-affiliated central institutions in India have agreed to utilize a single entrance exam to select undergraduate students, the Central University Entrance Test (CUET). During the first week of July of this year, students will take an admissions exam.

Admission to any of the country’s most prestigious colleges needs CUET certification (UGC). The National Testing Agency will administer the test in 2022. A merit list created by the National Testing Agency following the release of the CUET results will be used by each Central institution to select students (NTA).

In November of last year, the National Testing Agency was founded to conduct entrance exams for educational institutions of higher learning. As a means of achieving the goal of “one India one exam,” the organization was formed.

There are 13 distinct languages represented here. Section IB allows you to communicate in one of 19 other tongues.

The NTA has announced that it is not necessary to select alternatives from each section. It’s important to choose a course of study that meets the needs of the university you plan to attend.

The maximum number of languages that a candidate can select from each Section is three when Sections IA and IB are considered together. If Domain-Specific Subjects are unavailable, one of the languages must be used as a stand-in.

Section II offers a choice of 27 subjects from which candidates can select a total of six. Candidates should check their preferred university’s criteria before selecting Languages (up to three), six Subjects (up to six), and the General Test (up to six) from sections A and B, respectively.
