Ather 450 Apex Features
The Ather 450 Apex has lights that are all-LED, which makes them bright and energy-efficient. It has a big 7-inch touchscreen display, like a giant smartphone screen, where you can use Google Maps to find your way around when you’re riding. There’s also a cool new riding mode called Warp+ that’s included. And if you need to carry stuff with you, no worries! There’s a big storage space under the seat that can hold up to 22 liters of stuff. Plus, the scooter looks really cool because it has see-through panels that let you see the orange frame underneath.
Ather 450 Apex Suspension and Brakes
The Ather 450 Apex is built with a strong aluminium frame. It has a special kind of suspension called a telescopic fork in the front and a single rear shock absorber to make your ride smoother. For stopping, it uses big discs: one 200mm in the front and another 190mm in the back. Plus, it has a smart braking system called CBS and regenerative braking to save energy. The scooter sits high off the ground, about 170mm, and the seat is comfy at 780mm tall. It moves on 12-inch wheels made of a special kind of metal called alloy. The tires on these wheels are tubeless, which means they’re safer and easier to maintain.
Ather 450 Apex Motor and Range
The Ather 450 Apex has a special kind of motor called PMS (Permanent Magnet Synchronous) motor. It’s more powerful than the motor in the 450X, giving out 7kW of power and 26Nm of torque. The 450X, in comparison, has a peak power output of 6.4kW.
This scooter has five different modes for riding, including one called Warp+. When you hit the accelerator, it can zoom from 0 to 40kmph in just 2.9 seconds, which is faster than the 450X by 0.5 seconds. Its top speed is claimed to be 100kmph, which is 10kmph faster than the 450X.
It has a battery with a capacity of 3.7kWh. When it’s completely drained, it takes about 5 hours and 45 minutes to fully charge. In Smart Eco mode, you can go up to 110km on a single charge, but in Warp+ mode, the range decreases to 75km.
