MG Hector Safety Features
MG has made sure that Hector is really safe. It has up to six airbags to protect you if there’s a crash. Plus, it has ABS with EBD, which helps you brake safely. There’s also something called electronic stability control (ESC) to keep the car steady on the road. And it has cool technology called advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). These features include lane keep assist, which helps you stay in your lane, adaptive cruise control to adjust your speed automatically, forward collision warning to alert you if you’re getting too close to another car, and auto emergency braking to help you stop quickly if needed. MG Hector Engine
The MG Hector still runs on a 1.5-liter petrol engine. This engine can produce 141bhp and 250Nm of power. You can choose between a six-speed manual or a CVT for transmission.
Alternatively, there’s a diesel version with a 2.0-liter engine, making 168bhp and 350Nm of power. But, unlike the petrol version, it’s only available with a six-speed manual gearbox.
These engines meet the BS6 Phase 2 emission standards. However, it’s important to note that many of the advanced driver assistance functions are not available for the diesel models.
