The short showcases footage of Garona who is mostly stabbed by orcs. She attacks them with spears, knives, and the sword. In one of the scenes she even leaps onto a horse–thankfully WoTLK Gold, she doesn’t attack it. Lothar asks her what she does to survive because she’s “that different” when compared to orcs. She answers by saying “Broken bones heal faster. Mine are very strong.” You can watch all of the stabbing on the following video.
This is the third character from World of Warcraft . The first revolved around the leader of the orcs Durotan, while the second featured an human-powered warrior Anduin Lothar. With Garona as the main character in the third film, it wouldn’t be too surprising if we received another movie that featured Orgrim, the evil Orgrim. Other characters within the World of Warcraft movie include Horde warchief Blackhand, orc warlock Gul’Dan and King LlaneWrynn.
World of Warcraft hits theatres on June 10 and stars Patton, Travis Fimmel (Lothar), Toby Kebbell (Durotan), Robert Kazinsky (Orgrim) and Dominic Cooper (King Llane). It’s directed by Duncan Jones, who is the son of late music legend David Bowie and has helmed films such as Moon and Source Code.
Jones has recently spoken about a “fundamental” issue with Spider-Man director Sam Raimi’s remake of a World of Warcraft movie and how his will deviate from the game’s lore–but Jones says it shouldn’t bother you.
