INDIA – After Priyanka Chopra, Irfan Khan, Om Puri and Anil Kapoor, now southern stars, Dhanush is the latest Indian actor to star in a Hollywood project. Dhanush will make his Hollywood debut through lm The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir which also stars Uma Thurman.
Dhanush is a popular actor in India and he has worked in both Bollywood and the south lm industry. His latest Hindi release is Shamitabh. In that IM, he was juxtaposed with the megastar Amitabh Bachan.
The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir was directed by Marjane Satrapi. The film will be shot in Paris, Rome, Jodhpur and Casablanca. There will be other supporting cast members such as Alexandra Daddario, Barkhad Abdi and Laurent Latte.

The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakir is a comedy adventure story based on the novel Romain Puertolas released in 2014 and has been translated into 35 languages. This novel tells the story of a con artist’s pilgrimage from India to IKEA in Paris which turns into a Losos odyssey.
This film will follow his journey from New Delhi to Paris where he falls in love with a woman. Filming for this LM will begin in June
