David Lee Roth, the renowned rock artist most recognized for his work with Van Halen on a number of occasions, has announced his retirement from the music industry.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the 66-year-old singer verified the news in a phone conversation with the publication yesterday.
“I’m going to throw in the towel. I’ve decided to retire. “This is an official announcement,” says the author.
In an interview with the outlet, he stated that now that they’ve “received the news,” they can “share it with the world.”

Roth intends to finish with a series of performances at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, which will take place late this year and early next year.

Representatives for Mandalay Bay did not immediately reply to a request for comment from Fox News.
According to Roth, in an interview with the Review-Journal, he requested that the interviewer “try not to interrupt” because he was “going to close my eyes and take you on a ride.”

It was stated that he had recently spoken with Alex Van Halen, the legendary rock band’s drummer and that Van Halen was aware of Roth’s impending statement.
In his words, “Al and I have been chatting, and I can’t speak for him at this time, but he is aware of what I am about to say,” he said. “We communicate with one another constantly, two or three times a day. We’re giggling like pirates.”
It’s unclear exactly what Roth was referring to when he said he couldn’t “speak for” Van Halen because he didn’t have the authority to do so. For comment, the Reporter has reached out to the drummer’s representatives.
“The recent departure of my dear classmate” – an obvious reference to the late Eddie Van Halen – had been on Roth’s mind recently, and he also mentioned his forthcoming 67th birthday on Oct. 10. Roth is a member of the rock band Van Halen.
“I feel inspired and compelled actually to come to grips with how short life is, and my time is likely to be significantly shorter,” Roth expressed his concern.
According to him, he expects to be the “first” member of Van Halen to pass away, and he was right.

And we all brought out our $125 in green, crisp, sweat-through-your-[expletive]-shoe money from our wallets and purses.”
The singer Said that he remembers those days “as if they were yesterday” and that he recently reminisced about that very incident with Alex Van Halen.
“I just discovered a pair of jeans upstairs. I keep a few of the old garments for future use. “According to the actress, who was also known for her bright and fashion-forward ensembles, the star “I was a size 29 at the time. Eddie wore a size 26 dress. That’s where we come from, actually.”

“It’s been a fantastic, great run,” he said at the conclusion of his career, adding that he had “no regrets and nothing bad to say about anyone.”
The rocker went on to say: “I’ll miss each and every one of you. Continue to be frigid.”
