Introduction: In today’s life smart security system is the need of every office and home. This work is intended to design a smart security system for home and office applications. The objective of this work is to design an intruder detection system and transmit the picture of the intruder to the owner’s mobile. ESP-32 CAM board can be used for this purpose. For theft protection camera will transmit the pictures to the owner’s mobile. For other securities e.g. fire protection, temperature monitoring, different sensors are used with ESP-32 GPIO pin. Temperature sensors, humidity sensors, fire sensors, gas sensors, etc. can be used for home and office security. The ESP32 consists of a Wi-Fi module that can be connected with the internet hotspot. Via hot-spot, the ESP-32 board transmits the data to the user. The PIR sensor is used for intruder detection. PIR consists of 3 pins. 2 pins are power pins and 1 pin is a data pin. The smart security lock is also used in this project. If any unauthorized user tries to open the door, the lock immediately transmits the signal to the board. The board transmits that signal to the user’s mobile. For the communication of ESP-32 board and user mobile, we can use the telegram app. The telegram app is easily used as the best communicative social media platform for the bot application. ESP32 CAM Board:

ESP-32 board is the commercially available programmable board. The different models of boards are available in the market. The user can choose any model based on their requirement. Each model has its specifications. Some variants are available with a fewer number of GPIO (General Purpose Input Output) pins and some of them are available with a large number of GPIO pins. For this application, all the sensors and peripheral devices need a common interface, which can process the logic fed into it and send the monitored data through a wireless communication protocol. ESP-32 CAM model is more suitable for this application. Arduino IDE can be used for programming. FTDI is used for TTL to serial conversion. PIR Sensor

PIR sensors can be used to detect humans or objects. It is generally used for movement of the objects. It consists of three pins. Two pins are power pins and one pin is a data pin. The data pin can be utilized for object detection. It operates on 5V DC. It can easily be integrable with Arduino boards and other processing boards. It can also be integrable with the traditional boards. For students mini projects and major projects, it can be utilized. It is also available for commercial and industrial applications. Flame Sensor
