Management isn’t something that is readily available only to those of us with gray hair. However, there is something to be said for the lessons that the University of Life teaches us along the method to those gray hairs!

From the perspective of any ability, there are governing concepts and contextual guidelines that enable one to develop competency and proficiency in a given location. Can you imagine attempting to successfully lead thousands and even 5 individuals through accepting nominalisations as guides?

Listen, what can be said or written that hasn’t been currently? You’ve read about vision, planning, building relationships, providing feedback, delegating, and organizing so what’s left? Guess you never ever looked at it that method, huh.

Leadership isn’t this mystical idea. It’s not mysterious or exotic, either. Leaders do not have to be charismatic to be effective. It’s not about stating something extensive at just the right time. It has to do with caring and helpful behaviors, focused on others and moving on towards a well-defined location.

I have two herds, one male (geldings) and one female (mares) so I have been able to observe leadership activity in two extremely different groups. It is constantly fun to ask visitors to select the leader in each of our herds. No one has actually ever successfully determined either of my herd leaders.

The only way a leader can earn his title as “Servant more info Leader” is through humbleness and total surrender to Jesus Christ. And humility and overall surrender come as a result of having more of Jesus and less of ourselves. As John the Baptist said in John 3:30: He needs to increase, but I must decrease.
