Lupine Takes First Quarter of 2021 on Netflix's Popular Charts

The Lupine series managed to dominate the Netflix streaming service chart in the first quarter of 2021. Netflix says this French series has been watched by 76 million accounts worldwide in the first four weeks since its release.
Citing the Hollywood Reporter, the 76 million accounts watched Lupine for two minutes, which counted as one watch. This calculation method has been implemented by Netflix since the end of 2019.

With this method, the number of Lupine’s viewers is the same as the series The Witcher, which was released in December 2019. Meanwhile, the highest tail is still held by the Bridgerton series which managed to get 82 million viewers.
Until the first quarter of 2021, this streaming service from the United States has 207.64 million subscribers worldwide. That way, as many as 36.6 percent or 76 million of the total Netflix subscribers watch Lupine.
Lupine itself is a crime drama genre series that is quite tense. This series tells of Assane Diop who is determined to take revenge for the injustice against his father.

It all started when his father, Babakar Diop, who worked for a wealthy family was accused of being a thief. Babakar is then thrown in prison, the adult Assane has the ambition to destroy the rich family.
This series has managed to attract the attention of viewers since it was first released on January 8, 2021. This series succeeded in making the audience curious and tense through various well-crafted scenes.
