IN THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, THE PROCEDURE FOR ATTESTATION OF CERTIFICATES IS AS FOLLOWS:
You must follow a simple procedure to have your certifications attested by the MoFA in the UAE.

STEP 1: COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION

To register for the MoFAIC, go to their website.

Choose a customer type (individual or company)

Fill in the relevant fields and click “Submit.

People who already have a SmartPass account can log in with their existing credentials. If you don’t currently have a SmartPass account, you may need to create one. Individuals with a SmartPass account can use all of the UAE’s smart services, which are open to both nationals and foreigners.

STEP 2: IN THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES, APPLY FOR MOFAIC ATTESTATION

Once you’ve logged in,

The website redirects you to a smart form once you check in to the portal.

Fill in the relevant fields on the form.
Please attach the document that has to be attested.

STEP 3: APPLICATION REVIEW:

Select the intended authority for attestation and submit it.

Your application is sent to your chosen authority for consideration after it is submitted. If the application fits all of the requirements, you will receive permission and be able to proceed with the payment.

PAY THE FEES IN STEP 4:

Visit the MoFAIC website once the approval has been granted.

Please sign in to your account.
Choose “My Tasks” from the drop-down menu.
Pay the invoice.

STEP 5: GET YOUR DOCUMENTS CERTIFIED.

You must attend the nearest Customer Happiness Centre (nationals and residents) or the UAE Embassy/Mission (expats and foreigners) in your home country as the final step of MoFA attestation in the UAE. Take the document(s) to be attested with you.

The same approach is followed whether you need a marriage certificate attestation in Abu Dhabi, a birth certificate attestation in Dubai, or educational documents certification from MoFA Sharjah.c
