Title: Part No. VIPER22A
Introduction:

A low SMPS driver integrated circuit is an electro-magnetic switch over that will be used on every occasion you like we want to use up a low voltage path to switch a light bulb ON and OFF which is related to 220V mains supply. The necessary current to operate the relay coil is different than can be delivered by a variety of integrated circuits like Op-Amp, etc. Relays have distinctive properties and are supplanted with solid state switches that are solid than solid-state devices. High current volumes, wherewithal to stand ESD and drive circuit separation are the special properties of Relays.

Features:

Transfer driver is Darlington pair
Switch driver is high switch toggle
Components are fewer in it
Reduces load on voltage driver side
Easier to deal with relay

Working:

All relays arrive with a voltage rating because of SMPS driver IC. This is termed on a relay’s datasheet its rated coil voltage. This is the voltage required for the relay to be able to work and be able to open or close its switch in a circuit. For a relay to operate, it must obtain this voltage at its coil points. Thus, if a relay has a graded voltage of 9VDC, it must receive 9 volts of DC voltage to operate If you don’t know this, look up what relay you have and consider its datasheet and check for this specification. Now that we’re utilizing a transistor to run the relay, we can use significantly less power to get the relay driven.

Applications:

Motor control applications
Automobile and automotive industry
Low power loads
