There is not only a single reason which causes irritation after shaving pubes but have many are as follow:

Scabbing

A microscopic mite burrows into the skin and lays larvae, causing this extremely infectious skin disease. If the eggs hatch, the mites crawl along the skin, leaving thin red tracks and tiny red bumps.

They cause severe itching, which is typically worst at night, and are most often found in the skin folds around the genitals, buttocks, breasts, and knees.

Scabies is transmitted by prolonged, near physical contact with someone who has scabies, which includes both sexual and nonsexual skin to skin contact. Additionally, it can be spread in settings such as schools, daycares, and nursing homes.

Dermatitis psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic, non-contagious autoimmune skin disease that manifests as raised, red patches of skin covered in silvery scales. Patches can develop on any part of the body but are most often found on the elbows and knees. Patches can be very itchy and painful, cracking and bleeding.

Though plaque psoriasis is the most prevalent form, inverse psoriasis is more likely to affect the genital area, including the pubis. This form is characterized by red lesions that appear smooth and shiny in the genital and groin folds.

Tinea cruris Tinea cruris (jock itch)

Jock itch is a fungal infection that affects the genital area’s skin folds. It is more prevalent in men due to the ease with which moisture can be trapped between the scrotum and thigh, providing an ideal breeding ground for fungi.

Jock itch is characterized by an extremely itchy rash that has a scaly dark pink or reddish margin. Additionally, it can be quite painful.

You’re more prone to developing jock itch: If you wear tight or wet clothing in warmer weather, if you do not adequately dry your genital region after washing if you have athlete’s foot or onychomycosis, a fungal infection of the nails,

Atopic dermatitis

The most common form of eczema is atopic dermatitis. It is described by scaly red rashes that can develop into bumps and leak fluid when scratched. Eczema more often develops in the elbow or knee creases, but it can also affect the male and female genitals.

Eczema can be triggered by a variety of factors, including the following: Chemicals and fragrances used in soap and other skincare items in very hot or cold weather dry skin ailment

Candida albicans (yeast infection)

Candidiasis, also known as a yeast infection, is a condition caused by an overgrowth of the yeast candida. Candida fungi grow in wet, moist environments, which is why they are often found in skin folds and the genital area. Wearing restrictive clothing, maintaining poor grooming, and failing to properly dry after bathing all increase your risk.
