The TOSHIBA TLP250 consists of an integrated photodetector and a light emitting GaAlAs diode. The TLP250 electronic module is an isolated MOSFET/IGBT driver Integrated Chip. The input side of the TLP250 consists of a GaAlAs light-emitting diode (LED) while The output side receives a drive signal through an integrated photodetector. Therefore, the main feature of the TLP250 is the electrical isolation between the low and high-power circuits. This makes It possible to transfers electrical signals optically via light.Designers and engineers can use the TLP250 electronic module to drive a gate terminal of high voltage switches in both configurations such as high side and low side drive.This component is an 8-lead DIP-style package. This gadget works well for power MOS FET or IGBT gate driving circuit.
