I will tell you how to write an IELTS essay using my example. The text below was roughly estimated at 8-8.5 by two people – my colleague, an IELTS examiner, and a teacher with an overall IELTS score of 8.5. I periodically twitch the first one with questions, from the second I took lessons in writing and speaking, when it hit me in my head to become an IELTS examiner as well. I left this idea due to lack of time and banal energy, but everything I learned turns out to be applied and supplemented.

leave aside the stories about time and 500 word essay. You can read about this in my general IELTS review. Here I am writing about the necessary stages, some of which are undertaken by the teacher.

Types and examples of IELTS essays
They are a must-have as an example. The blogs I found have good examples, but they are mostly 5-7 points. A few texts for 8-9 points are in Cambridge IELTS Practice Tests 7-14. Rely on them for a reliable source.

There are five types of essays in total. The most common of them is an opinion essay (opinion essay topics list) – to express your point of view, agree or disagree with the statement in whole or only in part. The main thing is to say about this already in the introduction, to defend your position with all your might in two or three paragraphs of the main part and again insist on your own in the conclusion.

This is what I chose from the Complete IELTS textbook. It’s best to start with your favorite topics that already have something to say. For those who are unloved, but necessary for IELTS, you will have to get ideas from people, from books, magazines and blogs.
