There Will be a New Warzone Title Coming Out Soon, Activision Says

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 was made official on Friday, along with the next mainline game in the series, Modern Warfare 2, which was previously rumored to be called Warzone 2.

As soon as the announcement was made, it was quickly spread across social media, primarily among streamers and other content creators, as well as through a brief blog post from the development team.

Activision later made a blog post to officially say that the news was true. There will be a new Call of Duty game in 2022 that is a follow-up to Modern Warfare 2, which sold 30 million copies in 2019.

These two new games have been “designed together from the ground up” by Activision, who made them. At the same time, Infinity Ward is in charge of the development of Modern Warfare 2 as well as Warzone 2.

Only a few details are known about Warzone 2, but Activision has promised a “massive evolution” of the battle royale formula for players. New sandbox modes, as well as a “all-new playspace,” will be incorporated into this update.

The announcement of Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 was teased by Activision, so it came as no surprise. Even more so, Activision’s management previously stated that new Call of Duty games were on their way following the disappointing sales figures for both Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone.

You can find out more about both games from YouTuber JackFrags: Warzone 2 and Warzone 2. People who read the report say that Warzone 2, or whatever the game is called, will have “significant changes.” Developers say that no two games should be the same.

This isn’t the same old Warzone. People don’t know much about the Sandbox mode in Warzone 2 yet.

There was no longer any Modern Warfare about the game anymore when Black Ops content was added. It also wasn’t like Black Ops at the same time. This feedback will be taken into consideration by the team working on the next Warzone.

When Warzone 2 comes out, we don’t know what will happen to the original Warzone.

Modern Warfare 2 is a video game that was released in 2012

Modern Warfare 2 is scheduled to be released this fall, according to CharlieIntel. There is a good chance that the team will make a sequel because they sold 30 million copies of the game in 2019. Almost nothing is known about Modern Warfare 2, but it’s rumored that it will be about Colombian drug cartels.

All of this is taking place as Microsoft moves to buy Activision Blizzard and the Call of Duty franchise from Activision. As long as Microsoft owns Call of Duty, it will keep making the game for PlayStation and it may also come to the Nintendo Switch.

The release date for Call of Duty: Warzone 2 could be revealed as early as today.

Call of Duty’s free-to-play 2020 battle royale sequel will reportedly be revealed on February 11th, according to reports.

As far as we can tell, Infinity Ward seems to have agreed that a Call of Duty: Warzone 2 announcement is near. Call of Duty: Warzone’s next game is said to be shown tomorrow, February 11. Bloomberg recently said that Activision had a bad year. They’re making three Call of Duty games right now, and they’ll be available for both the Playstation 3 and the Playstation 4.

Is Infinity Ward working on a sequel to Modern Warfare in 2019? Treyarch is working on a new game, and Warzone 2 is also said to be in the works.

“Warzone 2 embargo will be lifted on February 11th,” tweeted Tom Henderson, a source in the video game industry. In a separate tweet, he said that Warzone 2 would come with Modern Warfare 2, but he didn’t know if that meant both games would be released on the same day.

Henderson says that Infinity Ward also used what they learned from the first Warzone to help them make Warzone 2. In a tweet, he says that his “developer friends” said that problems were caused when Infinity Ward tried to add Black Ops Cold War to Warzone.

There’s been a lot of speculation that Infinity Ward was planning a surprise announcement for the upcoming “new generation of Call of Duty,” as they tweeted on February 3. A very different message (which is embedded below) was sent out by Henderson following the leaks, which appears to indicate that the surprise may have already been revealed.

Now, does that tweet say anything? Not at all. But the implication is there, so it is there. A Match Preshow Ranked Play Roundtable hosted by Treyarch and the Call of Duty League will take place from 11:30 AM to 2:15 PM ET on February 11.

People who play Call of Duty might be excited to hear about Warzone 2 at this time. As far as our part, that’s just a guess.
