Optim Surgery Center was the first facility in Savannah to perform same day knee replacement, where patients can go home within hours of their procedure. In the Optim Surgery Center setting, the patient benefits from one-on-one nursing and physical therapy, bedside and in the clinic. Further, for patients that may need some additional time before going home, we offer a 23-hour extended stay option.
Recognizing the importance of family support in the path to recovery, our center provides orthopedic-designed sleeper recliners in each room along with a family lounge and catered dinners and Starbucks coffee for patients and families.
