RYT 200 yoga teacher training is an online course for anyone interested in learning more about yoga. It offers a sophisticated education on philosophy, movement, anatomy and all 8 limbs of yoga that will enrich your life on and off the mat.

The course is self-paced and includes live sessions, replays and pre-recorded support material. It also includes weekly group calls with your instructors and classmates.

RYT200

RYT 200 is the first level of yoga teacher training certification that is recognized by Yoga Alliance. It is considered a foundational course for yogis as it teaches the fundamentals of yoga. You can then enroll in a more advanced RYT 300 or 500 course if you want to learn more about yoga.

Once you have completed your RYT 200, you can begin teaching yoga in your local community. However, you should consider the location of where you will teach as some gyms and studios prefer teachers to be certified at a certain level.

For example, some teachers may offer novelty packages such as yoga + crystals or yoga + essential oils to attract students. These types of offers can be tempting for yoga teachers to take up, but they should remember that the ubiquity of RYT 200 certification has created an oversupply of yoga teachers. This oversupply has led to a yoga market where it is common for teachers to work several jobs.

RYT300

The RYS 300 hour yoga teacher training is an advanced course for those who have already completed the basic 200 hour certification. The course offers more in-depth study of the yogic philosophy, technique and teaching methodology. It also covers advanced asanas, pranayama and cleansing kriyas, and deepens the study of the 8 limbs, 4 paths and chakras of yoga.

This advanced training builds upon the strong foundation you’ve created in your 200hr ytt online and nurtures it into professional skills as a yoga instructor. Uplifted 300hr YTT also gets into branding, mindset and money, which are key components to actually creating a thriving yoga business.

Upon completion of the RYS 300 hour yoga teacher training, you can apply to register with Yoga Alliance as an ERYT 500. The title ERYT stands for Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher. It is only awarded after you have completed a combination of a 200 hour and 500 hours training from a RYS yoga school that meets the standards set by Yoga Alliance.

RYT500

If you are interested in taking a 500 hour yoga teacher training online, you’ve come to the right place. Here, you’ll find some of the best yoga teacher training courses available. This training will help you expand your knowledge of yoga and deepen your practice. It will also give you the confidence to teach yoga professionally.

RYT stands for Registered Yoga Teacher. Depending on the number of hours of teacher training that you’ve completed, Yoga Alliance will assign different titles to you. For example, a 200-hour YTT will get you an RYT 200 designation, while a 300-hour YTT will earn you an E-RYT.

The DYWM YTT is led by Rachel Scott, a master teacher and experienced educator. Her expertise in online education is reflected in the quality of this training. Her students love the no-fluff approach to learning and say they are transformed by their YTT experience. She is also a regular presenter at yoga conferences and retreats.

RYT600

If you’ve completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training, you can apply to take a 300 hour advanced yoga teacher training. This is a more rigorous program that covers the topics of advanced anatomy, philosophy, and more. You’ll also be able to teach yoga classes at this level.
