A lot of folks these days would rather purchase a recliner than a sofa or chair. Better than both is a well-made recliner. It improves the beauty of your room in addition to offering significant comfort and health advantages. It has a certain expense but is a huge utility. Numerous variations are available for recliners, including wall hugger, power lift, pushback, rocker, and two positions. You can select the one that best suits your style.

While choosing a recliner, one thought comes to mind.

How much did it cost?

Well, it differs as per the features, brand, fabric, configuration, and sizes like small, medium, and large. We have divided the recliners into three price ranges in this blog. Economic, medium, and premium.

Economical Recliners

  • Economical or budget recliners cost anywhere between Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 20,000, Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 40,000, and Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 70,000 for a single-seater, two-seater, and three-seater, respectively.
  • These recliners are the basic ones with manual functions with or without a lever just to stretch the leg rest. Mostly, you will get two-position and pushback recliners in this category.
  • The upholstery in the budget recliners is mostly made of faux leather or synthetic fibre and the frame material is usually solid wood or metal, which is sturdy.
  • Padding may not be as good as medium or premium ones.

Medium-range recliners

  • These are on the higher side in terms of money if compared to the budget-friendly ones. Medium-range recliners will have a price range anywhere between Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 40,000, Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 70,000, and Rs. 70,000 and Rs. 1,00,000 for a single-seater, two-seater, and three-seater, per unit.
  • Some of the models may have manual mechanisms, while others may have motorised ones, depending on the brand. Typically, they have an adjustable footrest and headrest.
  • They have better upholstery made from higher-quality materials such as genuine leather, faux leather, or premium fabrics.
  • Padding is quite good in all the support areas, like the seat, armrest, and backrest, for cushy comfort and better ergonomics.
  • They may have additional features like a swivel, a USB port, a cup holder, or a reading light. They will have stylish designs to suit your space and make it more elegant. They may also have a better warranty to make your investment safer.

Premium Recliners

  • As the saying goes, premium recliners are the most valued ones. Premium recliners will have a price range anywhere between Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 70,000 (single seater), Rs. 70,000 and Rs. 1,50,000 (two seater), and Rs. 1,00,000 and Rs. 2,00,000 (three seater).
  • The price imparts luxury. Most of these recliners have motorised mechanisms with adjustable foot rests and headrests. Instead of a manual lever, they will have inbuilt buttons for smooth transition or even a remote.
  • Upholstery is made from the finest materials, like genuine leather, top-grain leather, and high-grade fabric. Just by the look, you can identify these recliners as premiums and luxuries.
  • Generally, padding is made of high-density foam, which provides great neck, head, and lumbar support. These recliners are very sturdy, as they are made of high-quality solid wood or steel.
  • Premium recliners are full of features, like USB charging ports, built-in speakers, Bluetooth connectivity, storage compartments, and built-in cup holders. Some of the sophisticated premium recliners will have massage and heat therapy functions. Rocker, Power-Lift, and Wall Huggers recliners are available in this segment.

  • In summary, quality recliners provide comfort, health benefits, and enhance space aesthetics. Prices vary based on features, brand, fabric, configuration, and size. Understanding price ranges and factors influencing prices allows for informed decision-making. Economic recliners have manual functions, medium-range recliners have adjustable footrests, and premium recliners offer motorised mechanisms, high-density foam padding, and massage and heat therapy functions.
